This painting began as a free, intuitive pour—pure pigment, water, and gravity guiding the first conversation on the paper. I intentionally released control in the early stage, allowing the colors to collide, separate, and settle naturally. Once dry, the abstract forms revealed a quiet landscape to me: layered earth, reflected light, and a sense of depth that feels both grounded and fluid.
The composition lives in the space between abstraction and recognition. Hints of land, water, and atmosphere emerge without being fully defined, inviting the viewer to slow down and interpret the scene through their own lens.
