Josh and I initially bonded over art. Simply talking about his love of it and his zeal for watercolors. Balancing a work life and coming home to hone a craft speaks volumes to me. I knew from the start that he had so much talent. I sent him photos of my travels and a day later I had a watercolor painting of this beautiful place I visited that I thought could only be replicated in my mind. Now, I have it on my wall. I love that I send him my images, but he paints them as he feels it. He asks me questions about the experiences that I want portrayed, so that he can accurately create something meaningful. And they all are. They are prized possessions.
